At a recent meeting of the Bishop’s Meadow Trust, Jim Munro was elected as the new Chair of the organisation, replacing Vic Green who has done a brilliant job over the past years. Ed Partridge was elected as Vice Chair.
This year, sowing has been delayed by weather and technical problems, but we are going to do our best to have our bee meadow ready for the Britain in Bloom and the South East in Bloom judges to see.
With agreement from the Bishop’s Meadow Trust, the Environment Agency has started work on creating a fish passage in the River Wey close to the Farnham Gauging Station.
The Bishop’s Meadow Trust has been approached by the Environment Agency to make improvements to the weir on part of the River Wey which runs through the meadow.
